Quick fixes
The app won't open or crashes on launch.
Force-quit Thunk (swipe up from the bottom and flick the Thunk card away), then reopen it. If it keeps crashing, restart your iPhone and update to the latest iOS.
Today's daily puzzle isn't loading.
Daily puzzles cache when you have signal. Connect to Wi-Fi or cellular for a moment, then pull down to refresh on the home screen.
Haptics aren't firing.
Check Settings → Sounds & Haptics → System Haptics is on, and that your iPhone isn't in Low Power Mode (which disables haptics for some apps).

Thunk is free to download and try. A single one-time $2.99 In-App Purchase, managed by Apple, unlocks the full app forever — no subscriptions and no recurring charges. On a new iPhone or after reinstalling, tap Restore Purchases in Thunk's settings to bring your unlock back at no extra cost.
Privacy policy
The short version: we don't want your data. Thunk is designed to be played, not tracked.
What we collect
This site: We no longer collect email addresses. During the pre-launch period we ran a waitlist to notify people when Thunk became available; those existing addresses are retained only to deliver the single launch announcement and are never sold or shared.
In the app: nothing. Thunk has no accounts, no analytics SDKs, no ads, and no third-party trackers. Your stats, streaks, and settings live on your device and sync via your own iCloud account if you have it enabled.
Children
Thunk is suitable for all ages. Because we don't collect personal information inside the app, no special handling is required for users under 13.
Your rights
If you previously joined the waitlist and want your email deleted, write to dgtol@me.com. There's nothing else to delete — we hold no other data.

If this policy changes meaningfully, we'll update this page and note the date below.
